Brighton Blue is a semi-soft cheese with a mellow blue flavour and a slightly salty finish. The cheese is aged for 6-8 weeks and this allows the classic blue veins to develop and add the distinctive flavour we enjoy. Brighton Blue is a well-rounded blue cheese that does not overpower the palette, making it an inviting option on any cheeseboard or for cooking with.
The cheese has won numerous awards including a Super Gold at the World Cheese Awards 2017-18 and 2019-20, along with Gold’s at both the International Cheese Awards in 2023 and 2024. In 2025 it won a Gold at the World Cheese Awards in Switzerland.
